Twigg was born in 2000, Wakefield where she spent the majority of her life, 2019 was when she moved to Nottingham to pursue her passion for art and photography at Nottingham Trent university. Twigg studied at New College Pontefract where she completed her Art Foundation programme, where she had her first public exhibition Ideal Self (2019). Twigg’s main medium in her practice is photography, exploring the ideas and themes of womanhood, life and spirituality. Creating a narrative for an audience is essential for her, directing them into a feeling, having them be lost within her work. The ritualistic symbols carried throughout evolves each time, they expand into different forms, ideas and shapes, they grow into different relationships with each other, constantly overlapping.
